What is your approach to supporting clients through ExoMind™ therapy?
I believe that feeling supported, understood, and genuinely cared for can make a meaningful difference in a person’s healing journey. My approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centred, and I strive to create an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and taking steps toward the version of themselves they want to become.
Many of the clients I meet feel emotionally overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, stuck in patterns of overthinking, or disconnected from themselves and others. My goal is to help clients feel safe, informed, and supported throughout their ExoMind™ journey while creating a calm and welcoming experience from beginning to end.
What is ExoMind™ (rTMS) therapy?
ExoMind™ uses repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), a non-invasive, evidence-informed therapy designed to support emotional well-being, mental clarity, resilience, and healthier nervous system functioning.
Gentle magnetic stimulation is used to support areas of the brain involved in emotional regulation, focus, stress tolerance, motivation, and clear thinking — helping the brain function in a more balanced and efficient way over time.
This treatment has existed for over 40 years, and millions of people around the world have received TMS therapy. Many individuals are drawn to ExoMind™ because it offers a drug-free alternative that works directly with targeted brain networks rather than affecting the entire body. Many people explore ExoMind™ because they feel emotionally overloaded, mentally exhausted, stuck in patterns of overthinking, or no longer like themselves. Our hope at Eckert Centre is to help people move toward greater calmness, clarity, emotional balance, resilience, and overall flourishing.
Sessions are completed while clients remain awake and comfortable, with no downtime afterward, allowing most people to return to their regular daily activities right away.
As the Brain & Body Therapies Care Coordinator and ExoMind Lead Technician at Eckert Centre, I help guide clients through the treatment process by providing education, encouragement, care coordination, and ongoing support throughout their experience. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health struggles and helping people feel hopeful, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.
What training and expertise do you bring to your role?
My background in psychology and passion for mental health led me to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Mount Royal University. I value continuous learning and work closely with our multidisciplinary team at Eckert Centre to support the delivery and coordination of ExoMind™ care in a way that reflects compassion, professionalism, and genuine care.
My role combines client support, treatment coordination, communication, organization, and mental health advocacy. I strive to help clients feel welcomed, informed, and comfortable throughout their care journey.
Outside of your professional role, what are some ways you express your uniqueness as a person?
Outside of work, I enjoy creative and meaningful activities that help me stay grounded and inspired, including painting, reading, sewing, skiing, hiking, and travelling. I especially value opportunities to visit Germany and connect with family and culture that are deeply meaningful to me.
The people closest to me continue to inspire me through their resilience, growth, and commitment to well-being, which continues to shape the way I approach both my work and everyday life.
