I am currently in the full swing of exams, and to be honest, it has been a stressful time. Balancing between completing assignments and preparing for exams has been challenging, and there have been moments where I didn't feel like I could do it. That's when I decided to try the Rosenberg Reset.

In chapter two of Dr. Joan I. Rosenberg's book "90 Seconds to a Life You Love," she introduces the Rosenberg Reset, a simple yet powerful formula that can help anyone navigate through challenging moments in life. The concept is straightforward: "one choice, eight feelings, 90 seconds” and [if] “you are willing to experience and move through one or more 90-second waves of one or more of eight unpleasant feelings, you can pursue whatever you want in life” (52).

The first step I took was to identify what I was feeling. I realized that my stress and anxiety were preventing me from being productive. I decided to choose one feeling and allow myself to experience it for 90 seconds. I decided to feel my anxiety for 90 seconds without trying to dodge it or find anything else to do. I focused on my bodily sensations at that time and gave myself permission to feel them completely.

After the 90 seconds were over, I noticed that the intensity of my anxiety had decreased. I was then able to move on to the next step, which was choosing a more positive feeling. I decided to focus on gratitude and listed out everything that I was thankful for in that moment. This helped me shift my focus from my negative feelings to positive ones.

The Rosenberg Reset helped me navigate through my stress and anxiety, and I was able to complete my assignments with a clearer mind. Not only did it help me deal with exam stress, but it also helped me navigate other challenges that came up in my life. And it's not just me. The Rosenberg Reset has helped countless others overcome their fears and achieve their goals, and Dr. Rosenberg often shares stories of individuals she has worked with closely to illustrate the power of this approach. Through her work, she has seen firsthand how the willingness to experience and move through unpleasant feelings can be transformative, allowing people to pursue their dreams and live more fulfilling lives. The Rosenberg Reset has been a game-changer for me, and I hope it can be for you too. By being willing to experience and move through unpleasant feelings, you can achieve whatever you want in life. And by prioritizing self-care, you can better equip yourself to handle life's challenges. So take a deep breath, choose a feeling, and give the Rosenberg Reset a try this week. Looking forward to next week's blog post, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The concept of "moment- to-moment experience" is one that resonates with me deeply, and I can't wait to share my thoughts on this idea with all of you. In a world where we are constantly bombarded by distractions and stimuli, it's easy to lose sight of the present moment and get caught up in worries about the future or regrets about the past. But what if we could learn to fully embrace and savor each moment as it comes? What if we could learn to find joy and fulfillment in even the most mundane experiences? So join me next week as we dive deeper into the concept of "moment-to-moment experience" and explore how it can help us all live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I can't wait to see where this journey takes us!
